This year we topped the amount raised in 2011 and surpassed our goal by raising over $17,000! Over the past four years Holly's Heart has now incredibly raised ...
... a GRAND TOTAL of $45,000!!!
We had our biggest crowd to date this year! The smiles on everyone’s faces and the laughter heard throughout the afternoon were heart-warming. Everyone attending had an absolutely amazing time. The entertainment impressed young and old with outstanding music, dancing, face-painting and skipping demonstrations. When we weren’t being entertained, numerous activities such as beading, painting, outdoor games, kept us busy. And to top it all off, a very moving closing took place with a spectacular 24 dove release.
The glorious afternoon certainly was a reflection of our little Miss Holly. She would have loved the event, but at nearly 4 years of age her embattled heart suddenly stopped beating. This fun loving, spirited and musical girl was certainly smiling down upon us at Holly’s Heart 2012 knowing that her life will bring joy and assistance to others in need. We are so pleased to be able to divide the monies raised between the two incredible organizations that helped support Holly and her family along the way, SickKids Hospital and the Guelph Wish Fund.
We have many people to thank for the success of the event: Attendees, individuals who made donations, the army of volunteers, businesses who donated silent auction items, children’s raffle table prizes and/or food items. All of these supporters helped to bring our fundraiser to new heights (please click on this link to view a complete list of our business supporters!)
